Why Spray Booth is Required?
Law :
There is a statutory requirement under the factories acts that adequate ventilation be installed wherever painting is carried out. As per that act, exhaust duct will be at least one meter above roof level.
Pollution :
The air exhausted from a paint shop must be free of paint as much as possible. A spray booth ensures this and prevents pollution of the atmosphere.
Safety :
Spraying paint may involve fire risk from both solvent vapours and over-spray deposits. A spray booth is essential to dispose of both safely.
